Minitrix control numbers

Hi all, anyone know if the stamp on the old Minitrix control number / Kontrolzettel slips in loco boxes give a date of manufacture, and if so how to decode the numbers?  I can see the item number (eg. 2940 for an old Minitrix 27) is part of the value, but how to read the rest of it?
