Just got back from spending a week on Lake Garda and a week in London.

I took with me an old Samsung Galaxy 7" Tablet that the kids once bought me as a birthday present, but I have never really liked it and on future trips I would prefer to take with me a good lightweight 11.6" "Ultrabook" with a good battery life and that runs Windows 10.

Not too well up on the current range of Ultrabooks, can anyone on here recommend a good quality one, where battery life and weight are important as I normally only take Cabin Baggage when flying which has weight restrictions.

My home Laptop is an I7 Toshiba Satellite, but this is too big and heavy to take on a plane, and I would like something more portable that virtually "emulates" what I have on my home PC. Not bothered about a removeable screen and prefer using a keyboard & mouse to a touch pad/screen.

Because I don't pay VAT I should be able to afford something fairly decent.

Only went on one train in Italy, but saw a few others whilst waiting at Desenzano Station for the Venice Express and have posted pictures below. 1st is an old commuter train, 2nd a more modern version, 3rd a "red" fast express, and 4th our "white" Venice express. Italian Express Trains can run at very high speeds, the fastest can achieve 400KPH, but our Venice Express itself was capable of only 250KPH.
