Train Fair / Swap Meet

I always seem to be unlucky whenever I fly over to the U.K., as there are never any train fairs near where I go when I am over. I am in Chester 24th July to 2nd August and just miss the Chester Toy & Train fair on the 2nd as travelling down to Bournemouth that day.

However I notice there is one in Wimborne, Dorset on the 10th of August - how far is that from Bournemouth itself, perhaps Dorset Mike can tell me, and is it worth a visit?

Looking at the Map there seem to be a few Wimbornes in Dorset, and it says it is at a school on the Blandford Road, so which Wimborne is it. Am in Bournemouth till the 20th when fly home from there direct to Tenerife. Probably won't have a car in Bournemouth unless I hire one.

Are you sure you got the month right? Just it's on the 10th but April.

Know nothing about it but hope helps.

I used to live in Bournemouth so hope you have a great time anyway.

Looks like I clicked on the wrong month when searching - seems there is nothing on when I am over - London May 13th to 17th, Chelmsford May 18th to 20th, Chester July 24th to 1st Aug, Bournemouth Aug 2nd to 16th.

I replied just as soon as I saw your post and had checked the dates again.
I thought that was a better response than just clicking a button.

There isn't one at Wimborne in August I'm afraid, the closest is September 11th, but that probably is no use to you....................
