I'm surprised how slow your Virgin broadband is, I've been using ntlworld, part of Virgin, for some years now download is currently about 90M (I pay for "up to 100M" sometimes it gets close)  upload is around 6M. Virgin say they are getting close to upgrading to 150M in this area.

Whose?

I myself am only on their basic Broadband only package
Since I last posted my service was their 10MB package
In November 2015 it increased to 20MB
In My Billing it shows I am on their SuperFibre70 up to 70MB package
However, it is typically between 15MB and 20MB
Equally, it meets my current needs
I could easily upgrade to either 100MB or 200MB
