Used to play "1894" with a couple of mates when I lived in Derby.Great game and well suited for those on this forum. I wonder if some computer genius could manage to sort out a version we could play over the interweb thingy.

The White Album game is good fun if you're a Beatles fan, you need a copy of their White Album and a bottle of whisky. You and a group of friends listen to the album in its entirety while arguing about how to condense it down from a two disc album into a single disc album.

Another game I haven't played for ages but is very fun is Edward Ciderhands or if you prefer grapes to apples, Amy Winehands - gaffer tape a bottle of cider or wine to each hand until they're done.

My family used to play board games a lot,Monopoly,Totopoly, Risk,Cluedo, Sorry etc. funny enough we played a game of Sorry a couple of weeks ago, that still is a good game. We once tried to play Trivial Pursuit with some friends, we were all too thick, we ended up using the childrens questions otherwise we would have been playing all night. With refference to "Risk" a good friend of mine nearly split with is wife playing that game, I remember him telling me the peices were thrown all round the room.

Not sure why they named that board game 'Sorry'
The way I play it, it should be called 'Evil' >:D

Does anyone else remember "1894"- a board game where one traded shares in railway companies, built routes and ran trains. I tried googling it but it seems to have sunk without trace.

I'd love to describe the 'games' I played with friends when I was younger, but I'd be kicked off the site if I did. :-[

Are you talking about games like "Spin the Bottle" or throwing your keys onto the floor where you would end up with a different Partner to the one you went to the Party with!?

Ah - the things we used to get up to when we were young - some of them are too embarrasing to repeat on this Forum - but I wouldn't have missed them for the World.

I used to like Russian roulette but the friends I used to play with are not around anymore for some reason ?  ;)

Best regards,

Joe
