Simple question ... where is it all.

I have searched various suppliers and E-Bay, but there seems to be be very little available out of the box, I'm getting the impression I will have to resort to the T Cut  and Fox transfers approach.

Hattons have some Anthony Manors and panniers and there is a shirtbutton Grange (Kingstone Grange) coming out soon - hopefully July.

Apparently the perception is that the shirtbutton stuff doesn't sell all that well. Strange that something that doesn't sell well is always in short supply??? You need to grab anything shirtbutton as soon as it comes out. There were shirtbutton 28XXs in the first run. I don't know if there are any more runs of shirtbutton 28XXs coming.

These are all Dapol locos.

Farish have produced shirtbutton panniers and 61XX prairies in the fairly distant past, but there is no mention of this livery for the coming 64XX and Castle.

Otherwise it's ebay or T-cut and transfers. One of the virtues of the shirtbutton livery is that it is easy to do!

I bought an Anthony Manor from Hattons, first one I saw and I snapped it up.

I'm in need of the panniers for the layout I am building as it is mostly branch line I am dealing with, the larger loco's were very rarely seen in the area, but I will be using artistic licence to have the odd one or two "passing through".

My quest for rolling stock, namely Collet coaches ended last night at about 23:00, Cheltenham Model Center had two, I say  "had" because they are now on their way to Chez Walters as I speak !

Try Osborns models of Bideford - they have some shirt button stock, including collet coaches
