It seems to me that there are fluctuations in the way that locomotives run.
My railway runs pretty smoothly with no real problems but it does seem that some days locos run better than others.
Could it be that on cold days or days when there is more moisture in the air that locos are affected ?
Any thoughts ?
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

My layout is housed in an outside insulated steel shed, it is exposed to some of the worst weather fluctuations there are, here in Tropical Queensland the weather can get down to 3 Celsius and as high as 40 Celsius, on top of that we get a wet season that creates stinking humidity of about 100%.

These weather conditions cause the track to tarnish so I have to keep it clean all the time, I have to say I have not noticed any problems with the way the locos run, things may be different if I left my trains on the layout, I store them in boxes to protect them from the elements.
Keep on Smiling
Dave.
