Models are posted from model shops all the time without incident so why should AMMC be any different?

The difference is that the models posted from model shops usually come in specific boxes for that particular model which is something that is not always available for scratchbuilt items.

Old VHS video cassette boxes are great for posting N gauge models in. Only a few pence from your local charity shop and usually come with a free video.
