Interesting, can't understand why it took a year though.  Should have done it in N, some of the guys on here would have had that done in a week  ;)

The project had been ongoing for quite a while and has appeared at a few exhibitions already. Seems the mainstream media has just caught up - it having been covered in a few other papers and on the BBC website in the last couple of weeks.

It has caused some debate on other forums about the apropriateness of the subject as a model... My take is that it is not the subject matter in itself that matters but how it is presented and interpreted that matters.

I personally had doubts when I first heard about it, but on seeing it for myself at Ally Pally with the full presentation, it most certainly does NOT 'glorify' the events of that night in any way; it acknowledges and comemorates the suffering of the railway and Post Office staff, and educates the viewer abouts the events far more than any Hollywood re-enactment ever will. It is not a model you would ever describe as 'entertaining' but it really does make you think...
