Matching locos to rolling stock

When i run my trains, i like to match up my locos with rolling stock, but some im struggling to work out what should haul it etc. so if i state what i have so far can someone help me fill in the blanks?

Lner v2/b1/a3/a4- teak coaches/pullmans
Tornado in green/blue-plum and custard mk1s/ pullmans
Black 5s/ br black b1/ royal scot - maroon mk1s/ west coast railways/ pullmans
Br blue sir nigel gresley- plum and custard gresleys
Hall/manor/panniers- collets in maroon or choc/cream

Rolling stock to be allocated:-
Maroon suburbans
Blue suburbans
Weathered Teak suburbans
Tpo
Weathered windcutters
Weathered bass brewery wagons
Weathered mixed freight

Locos to be allocated:-
Std 4 tank
Std 4mt (weathered and unweathered 76084)
Weathered br green ivatt
Br black ivatt
8f
Wd
9f
38xx
Br green a3
J39
Terrier
Std 5mt in black and green
Lms ivatt
Lms 4p
Lner b12

Rather an odd mix of stock you have for different regions and eras...


Standard 4 Tank is OK for the Maroon Suburbans.

Blue Suburbans, really want a type 2 diesel in Blue (class 31 or class 24/5 most likely)

Teak Suburbans would ideallly be behind an LNER livery passenger Tank e.g. N2 class 0-6-2. At a pinch could be used with the J39 as a rural local service.

TPOs were generally hauled by Express Passenger Locos.

The 'Windcutter' was a fast freight - the 9F is suitable for its early days. Latterly it was noted for use of pairs of Metrovick Co-Bos.

The other freight - any of hte mixed traffic types is possible depending on whether it is a main line, branch line,  or local trip working...

Rolling stock to be allocated:-
Maroon suburbans

If you mean the new Mark 1 suburbans then late BR steam, green diesel. If you mean the old Poole ones they are made up but for BR ones probably the same and for the mock LMS ones then I guess anything that might be hauling suburban/branch trains

Blue suburbans

Class 31 diesel.

Weathered Teak suburbans

LNER locos of some kind I guess, although they are sufficiently 'random' you could equally pretend they were LTSR stock and run them with an LMS loco ;-)

Windcutters-  If you mean brown (fitted) minerals then a 9F, J39, Stanier 8F or even the BR green A3.
If grey (unfitted) you can add in the WD, or the 38xx.   In the North East B1s were also used on minerals in BR days, sometimes even tender-first, so the Black B1 is possible
