I recently purchased some small toys that worked using a small solar panel on them.
Is it possible to purchase just the solar panels? They need to be about 1" square maximum in size. I've looked on Ebay and maplins etc without any luck.
Any help in pointing me in the right direction?
I know that I could buy some more toys and chop them up but I wanted to see if I could get them cheaper.

Thanks

David

Hi Dave

This is an american company but maybe can point you in the right direction?

"pv cell" seems to be the search criteria

Actually found this from

Other companies mentioned might also be of interest!

Plenty of 2" - 3" ones on Ebay, but then this caught my eye, doubt you'll get much cheapwer than that free postage too

If you look through their shop, they have 5 for £4.79 free P&P, just ordered a pack, sure I can find summat to do with them!

You can buy solar garden lights from the £1 shop David, they might be what you are looking for.
Some of them you get three for £1  :D

That's the ones thank you.
I was hoping that I could buy just the panels. I think this is probably the cheapest way.
The only drawback is that I've used this seller before and the goods were faulty and I had to open a case against him. Still the amount he sells he probably forget about me.
Thanks for all the info.
