I've had this about a month but only just got round to taking photos.

It's a Honda NC700s  twin cylinder OHC 6 speed gearbox and give around 70mpg.

It's also great fun :D Much better then the Kawasaki ER500C it replaced.

Sweet ride Mike. Looks like fun.

Looks good.  Does the 700 in the name relate to the engine size?  I'm currently wondering what big bike could replace my Honda CBR125.

It does but I think they are actually 670cc  ;)

cheers John.

Correct and they are low BHP (Brake Horse Power) so they are in the A2 driving license category (not that I understand the modern requirements I passed in the good old days). The torque comes in nice and low, and really I'd rather have torque then bhp.

I would say that they are prefect step up from small bikes. They are not overpowered but powerful enough to keep ahead of most traffic. Also almost as cheap on fuel as small bikes.

Over the years I've owned or had a ride on a number of bikes, not the silly modern pocket rockets, I kind of like my license :D It has the handling expected now plus ABS on both brakes, and the brakes are powerful and this is almost as good as the Moto Guzzi Le Mans mk2 I owned 30 years ago the electrics are far better.

If there's a Honda dealer near by ask for a test ride.
