Just had a day at Bressingham steam museum, as it's school holidays we have number 2 grandson to look after, and this is a good day out.

Just one of two photos.

Another GER mention from me  :D

Excellent pictures Mike, thanks. Looks like you and your grandson had a great time.

This brings back lots of brilliant memories of Bressingham that I have from one of our holidays down south. Glad the place is still going.

Flounder

I agree with Mereman - Bressingham is a great day out and good value.  We buy tickets in advance via the Tesco voucher scheme courtesy of the amount of fuel I buy from them.

Mrs Flounder likes the very well maintained and extensive gardens whilst the kids and I spend the day on the 3 narrow gauge railways and the carousel (we always have to find the horse called Saffron as it is first daughters name!).  It is also worth checking out the special events which add even more interest (includes miniature steam engines and garden railway days).

The staff are very friendly.  Number two daughter lost a flip-flop during a journey round the lower railway.  Driver found it on the following trip some way from the line. Daughter number two has never really explained what happened: "it just fell off Daddy". Uh huh.
