Friends, recently I have purchased items from Ebay France and Ebay Belgium.

The parcels arrived beautifully packaged and with gifts and messages.

The one from Belgium was accompanied by a small selection of foil wrapped Belgian chocolates and a very nice card wishing me well.

The package from France was also well packed complete with a handwritten note thanking me for my purchase and wishing me success with my modelling and a picture of the gentleman's shop and his wife standing outside waving!

I thought that it was such a pleasant change and something from which we could all benefit by adopting.

Mind you, if I buy from "Tank" again I hope he doesn't inflict a mug shot on me!!!

Regards, Peter.

Ha...

If I included a gift like that with a kit I sent out  I'd probably be counted as a food business with all the relevant regulation and inspection !

I have to admit that could be somewhat offputting, Peter, but it may be the price we have to pay for transactions with The Exalted one :-X

Good to hear that courtesy still exists, much needed in these times of Ebay horror tales.
Re Belgian purchase ,  last year I was hillwalking in Rannoch area and while heading for Rannoch
Station , bumped into a charming Belgian couple in a campervan  who gave me a  bottle of beer and a
sandwich , we swapped email addresses and we exchange greetings every now and then.

Sounds like a nice trip, the Belgian beer scene makes Oz look like a temperance meeting  :beers:

I really enjoyed a lot of Brussels - great food, brilliant arts museum. Pity most of the city looks like coventry on a bad day.

You mean you get good days in Coventry?  ;D I haven't actually been there except for the days me missus sends me there, which is just about every one (I love her, honest).

Seriously , I've heard a lot of good stuff about Brussels and (WE) are looking forward to going there.
