Just spotted this on their facebook feed, subscribe and enter code XMASEX£5 at the checkout for an extra £5 off per year, this brings the cheapest annual sub down to under £24

My parents buy me a years subscription every Christmas but being dinosaurs they will only do it by cheque. Not only must it annoy Model Rail it costs them more as they can't take advantage of any offers like this!

Thanks for the 'heads-up' on this, £23.08 is indeed a bargain and I have missed receiving my sub copies for the last year given the quality of the editorial team.
I notified them of a house move in August last year, the remaining issues for that year only turned up courtesy of Royal Mail's redirection service despite repeated emails from me and an equal number of assurances each time from them that my details had been updated.  My RM redirection service ceased as my then subscription reached it's renewal time, I'd had enough by then and cancelled the Direct Debit in utter frustration 
All continuing well enough with myself it's hard to envision having to move home again so I shouldn't need to test them on that again
