Dapol Emlyn Anthracite wagon, weathered.

Bought one of these as part of a 6 wagon deal from the Dapol stand at Warley,  the other 5 assorted wagons are fine but this one just does not roll.   I rang Dapol to be told to take the axles out and make sure they are turning separate from the axles.  Neither were,  the wheels have  a male spike on them that engages the female axle tube which seems to be plastic.  have eased  them a bit and lubed with WD40,  still they are very tight and the wagon rolls like a house brick.

Anyone any ideas or should I send it back to dapol,  anyone had any probs with this wagon.

So no reply, guess then its an isolated incident.  I have since had both axles off again and stripped them out.  The wheels are a very tight fit in the axle tube which is what I think the issue is.   if it still does not want to run nicely then its going back to Dapol.
