Tractor & Trailer

We had a few days away in North Devon last week and visited Osborne's Models in Bideford. Lovely little shop with plenty of stock.
I bought this little tractor and trailer for £9-50. Thought it was great value. Made by Wiking of Germany.
Maybe the trailer looks a little "plastiky" in my close up photo but on my layoiut it looks just fine.
Never heard of Wiking before but am pleased with this little purchase.

The tractor appears to be very well detailed and the trailer could be weathered a bit to help with the glossy plastic look, good little buy.

Wiking tend to go for good prices on eBay

Wiking have done some great stuff, if not very detailed by today's standards. 

The only better cars really are the Tomytec ones, but they are a very limited range of Japanese models. At least Wiking have done some common 70s, 80s and 90s European cars such as Mercedes 190, VW Golf MK1, Audi 100, BMW E30, Ford Capri MK1 and Ford Sierra XR4i (my favourite of theirs, I wonder why?  ) as well as other common cars like the Mini, VW Beetle and Porsche 911. The only downside is they are 1:160 and might look a little small next to 1:148 or the Tomy 1:150 vehicles, if you notice such things
