Popped to the model shop today with all good intentions of buying a class 47 DRS loco but i spotted a class 57 freightliner evolution for the same price maybe not in keeping with my 37s but i like it  ;D

Let's be honest, I'm sure most of us have done that before, I know I have, but I also end up buying what I originally wanted as well  Often it is cheaper to send S.W.M.B.O. to the model shop in Exeter with a list of part numbers, that way I don't feel like a kid in a sweet shop, and spend money I shouldn't :o
Male children never grow up, we just get older and our toys become more expensive!

Been there, done that, and got the thick ear from the wife to boot. :smiley-laughing:

I'm always like a kid in a sweetshop when I go in a model shop.. Good thing I take SWMBO with me, We'd be more broke than what we are if I was let loose! Nice looking model.. did you reserve the 47 too???  :D

Cheers
