Brigitte passed away today, but will forever be a cinematic icon to those of a certain age while her work as an animal rights activist will chime with others.
Gone, but never to be forgotten :(

In the 1958 film Babette Goes to War, BB appears in a number of scenes involving an East Kent bus in Kent and also including it passing King's Cross and St Pancras stations and her alighting from the bus at the eastern end of the St Pancras approach road. She then takes a taxi ride to around Parliament Square. The filming was undertaken in 1957/58 with the KX village still in evidence, although the film is set in 1940.
