newbie questions about dapol Terrier with LB&SCR crest

I ordered my first n gauge locomotive yesterday. It´s a dapol terrier with the early London, Brighton and South Coast Railway crest bearing the name "wapping". It´s brandnew and I got it for only 56 euros on ebay. Can´t wait until it´s there next week.

According to my research, terriers with the early crest were in use south of London from the 1870s until shortly after the formation of the big four in 1923.

However I have some questions about it:

Are there other n gauge locomotives available which are suitable for this setting? I unfortunately didn´t find other LB&SCR locomotives on the dapol and graham farish websites.

With which wagons can I combine this locomotive?

That version of the Terrier is in Stroudley's improved engine green which they only carried until around 1900. After that they carried a simpler livery with names disappearing.
You won't find any other RTR locos in LBSCR livery (apart from more Terriers) or indeed any other LBSCR locos or rolling stock in N I'm afraid. You'll need to go down the kit or scratch building route.
There are a few appropriately liveried private owner wagons available.

However I just wanted to say the "Terrier" was also the first loco I bought, and is a lovely model     

It runs really smoothley, and is my absolute favourite loco. I'm sure you won't be disappointed with it 

I have mine pulling freight wagons.

Such a shame you didn't go for the SE & CR version of the Terrier as there's also a Farish 'C' class in that stunning livery along with 3 coach 'Birdcage' sets to run with it, and Rapido are bringing out a range of SE & CR wagons

There were a number of 3D prints from Recreation21 but unfortunately they were only available through Shapeways which has just gone bankrupt.

Etched Pixels offered etched kits but following its closure the remaining stock was transferred to the 2mm SA where, I believe, they are only available when the association is attending a show.

An Alternative would to be to repaint some of the original Farish 4 wheel suburban coaches. You can replace the chassis with the NG Society Stove 6 wheel chassis.

My Terrier is in Great Western livery, and pulls a mix of all sorts of wagons, but finishes with a Great Western guards van.

Thank you, Newportnobby, for mentioning the SE&CR! I have just found out that there are two lines that were both used by LB&SCR and SE&CR! The first line was between South Croydon and Hurst Green (Oxted Line) and the second one between between South Croydon and Woodside. So I think that I might invent a fictional location on one of those two lines and use both liveries. Here are some links that are showcasing this:

I´m considering, if it´s possible for me to scratch build this design with balsa wood and add the 6 wheel chassis from the n gauge society.

Your layout is really amazing, Phoenix! I didn´t imagine it to be that tiny. The arrangement of the scenery makes it look bigger and yet, it´s all in a suitcase!

You may well have to look for second hand as it's been a few years since they were released and I've not heard of another run yet. Of course if you like assembling things you can buy C Class spars from Bachmann. The loco reference you need is 372-775 but, as has been said, very difficult to find.
The coach reference is 374-910 and these are available. For instance, Kernow have some at a decent price

I recently bought the one bearing the name Stepney from Compass Models in Rotherfield. It was Rotherfield village Fete and they were doing 10% off to celebrate - still a lot more than 56 euros lol. My (as yet unstarted) layout is based on GWR so I'm just going to pretend its one they haven't got round to repainting yet
