Come on Cal!

He's having a great season this year despite injury, in fact the Tech 3 team are really strong with Davizioso too.
Moto3 and Moto2 provide better entertainment IMHO purely because of the size of the grid

I'm working as well,so sky+ it is for me too.Incidentally, silly season has already begun in earnest I see.
On the back of Casey Stoner announcing his retirement at the end of this season,it seems as though there will be a spare seat on a Repsol Honda. Also, a new team from Britain is hoping to enter the CRT class from next season. Now,as a big fan of bike racing,I would love to see Valentino Rossi get back to winning ways and was looking forward to him kicking bottom on the Ducati.Alas, this was not to be,so it is quite encouraging to hear that at the British round,he was rumoured to be in talks with Lin Jarvis who runs the Yamaha race squad. Its not clear whether he'll be offered a ride on the full factory team or the Tech 3 squad, but I wouldn't really be concerned about either because as we've already seen, the Tech 3 squad aren't far behind the factory team.I suspect they're identical bikes underneath, albeit the factory bike that Lorenzo rides has all the new bits which filter down a race or so later. If Valetino were to ride for the Tech 3 squad,I suspect that he would get new bits immediately. Can't see him slotting into Tech 3 myself though. It'd be likely that he gets the number two slot to Lorenzo if he stays.
The chap who co commentates with Julian Ryder and Toby Moody, whose first name eludes me at the moment, surname is Spalding, said that Yamaha won't refuse to have him back, unlike Honda, who got the hump big time when Valentino won the championship on a two stroke 500,the last year of them, then won the title on a four stroke and after that decided to have a crack with a new team,Yamaha, and won for them as well. So,his move to Ducati was the dream for most Italians, however, with all the technical changes,Ducati seem to be lost and Valentino is unable to take them forward.Even with his development skills he can't get the feel he needs to make him feel confident to push harder without crashing.
I'm sure there will be someone who'll come along and take them forward, but as we see from the races, the satelite Ducati aquad are often faster both in qualifying and during races.I don't know whats in store, but I want to see Valentino back to winning ways.He was always good value to watch and in his 125 and 250 days, his race win celebrations were absolutely fantastic.
Who can remember him on the top step, dressed as Robin Hood after winning the British GP?
Or getting a fake speeding ticket after winning in Italy,or stepping off the bike and going into a trackside Portaloo!
I defy anyone to say we don't need this sort of thing back again.
I have seen Valentino's career from when he started in 125's and went through to 250,s and on to 500cc two strokes and finally the four strokes,so pardon me if I come across as a bit of a fan of his.As for Cal Crutchlow,he's the only englishman who can lift the country's sporting reputation at the moment, having lost out in the Euro's,there's no one in tennis who can win,not that I care anyway, and the olympics don't interest me in the slightest.I subscribe to Al Murray,Pub Landlord's view that it'll be a bit poo.
So,come on Cal,and Valentino.
