Yep, seeing as my current workbench is the kitchen table, my chair is a kitchen chair!

I've got a chair from here https://secretlab.co.uk/ specifically the Titan, they are expensive but well worth it for me, seeing as my workbench is also currently my desk for work.

An old pine wheel back dining chair, with arms, plus a very comfortable cushion made by Mrs Middlefour. My 'workbench' is an old pine kneehole desk with lots of drawers so I can forget where I put stuff!! :) :)

The Q

At the MRC I use a stool, not comfortable my back doesn't like it.
At exhibitions I use a adjustable height ironing stool with backrest. Better than a plain stool.
When I get the shed sorted there will be a proper high backed chair with a table that goes across the arms for detailed work off the layout of on small section of the layout.  Gone are the days when my back would allow being hunched over a workbench..

the ironing stool will be deployed when I have to work across the layout. That or standing but either can't be done for long..

Odd man out here, I use my mother's piano stool, it's older than me! Got an office type chair in the layout room
