Help Needed: Adding Details, GF 4-6-2 Coronoation

Moose need help with adding the wee details that come with the Graham-Farish 4-6-2 Coronation model.

Q1: Does anyone have clear photos and maybe some instruction regarding how these details are to be installed?

Q2: Do you use an adhesive?

Where some of the details go is obvious, even to this moose. Cab doors, steps & draincocks, okay.  But others, apparently all having to do with the valve gear except those hook looking bits, not so much.

Hooks are the coupling hooks that go on the centre of each bufferbeam.

Q2: Do you use an adhesive?

Yes, but only the absolute tiniest amount, carefully and intelligently applied (e.g. bufferbeam hooks can be dry fitted and then have adhesive applied from the rear of the beam).

Thank you for the information.   Moose still need info on how the valve gear bits go on. Photos would really help.

The valve guides are shown on the diagram at the top rear of the cylinders. Care is needed though, as these can foul the motion (I modify). Some models came with two flavours of them, one being wider for use, the other narrower to sit closer to or against the motion. I use those and modify the rear so they don't clash.

Your model only has one set, so there's no choice there, other than to fit them or not to.

Thank you Alan. Very much appreciate your taking the time to reply. Likely will not fit the valve guides if there is any chance that they would foul the gear.

Other rambling non-sense:

It does not appear obvious from the diagram or from the design of the parts how these parts are to be fitted to the model. Hence desiring a clear photo of them installed on an actual Graham-Farish model.

Tried finding photos that might shed light on this, both online and in Moose's British locomotive & LMS railway reference books. The best depiction Moose has found is in Osprey's "Loco Spotter's Guide," page 75, but it was not terribly helpful.

Was hoping to figure this out, if for no other reason to educate moose-self on the design of these components... Oh well, enough time spent... Groan.
