This is not a political post and I would ask that it was kept that way.

We find ourselves locking down again and I for one am struggling with it. We in the Skyline household do of course have it better than many others, but that doesn't make some days easy.

So, having come across a cracking poster of one Brian Blessed saying (I imagine in his "Hawkman" voice from Flash Gordon):

"Don't let the Covid grind you down!"

I thought I would start this thread for us to share the lighter side of life, jokes, stories, little things each of us experience to remind us it's not all bad in these times.

To start; Something Mini Skyline did yesterday whilst we were at his grandparents (less that 6 in total, allowed around here until Wednesday night).

I was on my way back from the kitchen via the dining room. I encounter the Mini person toddling the other way. He wants to open the kitchen door, so I go to get out of the way.

However he obviously things daddy is in need of a rest, so he takes me by the hands, leads me to the living room and physically pushes me down onto a sofa

Then he walks over to Granny, grabs her hand and leads her to the kitchen door!

He might not quite be talking yet but boy does he know how to communicate his wants!

Stay safe, stay well, stay happy all.

Have you considered that he might have been targeting the adult person most likely to acquiesce to his kitchen-focussed demands?

(Why yes, I have not so long ago had a toddler who was very good at the "point, pull and push" method of communication).
