40 years ago today I would be seeing AC/DC live at Birmingham Odeon :headbang:

And 125 years ago today, the 08:45 Granville to Paris & Montparnasse express, operated by Chemins de fer de l'Ouest, failed to stop in time at the Paris Montparnasse terminus, ploughing through the buffers, across the station concourse, through the station wall and out into the street below, resulting in one of the most famous railway photographs ever being taken.
