So what's the difference between a G and an X?  :confused2:

X marks the spot is easier to find?

Apparently a fraction of a second. :)
Haven't got a clue really, seem identical in effect.

Perhaps as Weave said, an X-spot is easier to find than a G-spot.
To be called pompous and arrogant - hell of a come down.
I tried so hard to be snobbish and haughty.

Never heard of those converted places before.  Magnificent!
I could happily isolate on those for a few weeks.  Wonder what the fishing is like?

Fishing has always been good in the Solent but not a place for small boats as it has a tidal anomalies!

Having paddled in a canoe across the Solent from Calshot Spit to Newtown Bay and back across the Solent to Lymington, I can attest to that!

Though the tide could be countered by careful timing and good navigation, it was another matter dealing with yachts and enormous ships. :o

In keeping with the theme of this thread, I felt very isolated mid-stream. :D

David.
I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
If a friend seems distant, catch up with them.

I missed I - glad you spotted today's deliberate mistake Mike.  ;).

(My excuse is that I have been to the Dentist this morning and had a filling - the Dentist is a nice lady, but I think she has a sadistic streak!  :'().

I'd have said that the presence of big, bigger and enormous boats moving back and forth is more of a concern for small boats than the tides  ;)

On arrival we got into a silly little boat and went fishing. If I remember correctly there were 8 of us. 7 threw up over the side and we caught 1 dogfish between us.

So in my opinion, the fishing there is rubbish  :o

Nothing to do with the fish not liking vomit for vittles, then?

Mum and I went to Tesco yesterday morning and as we entered a cocky teen came in without a mask. Before I knew it Mum had shouted 'Oi! Where's your mask?' 'Heck' I thought. She's going to cop a mouthful now but he just said 'Forgot it' and carried on as if nowt was amiss.
If it weren't for them infecting others I'd inject these gits with Covid-19 >:(

Don't know if this helps the discussion and may have been addressed before but thought it was good approach to some non mask wearers.

One of my clients, she is 50 odd with a few health issues, was in a convenience store yesterday. A 30 year old woman in front of her in the queue wasn't wearing a mask.

My client said "don't you think that you're being selfish not wearing a mask"?

"I don't believe Covid exists" the woman replied.

Rather than shouting back at her, my client, thinking on her feet, replied "Yes, I know that YOU think that but people like you are going to bring the whole of Britain into complete lockdown and so none of us, including you, will be able to go out for the foreseeable future. Just think about it. Please."

The woman said nothing in reply. Maybe something stuck, maybe not, but maybe better than getting into a situation where 'they' are just going to yell abuse back still thinking they're right and even getting violent which defeats the object of social distancing.

Just a thought.

Stay safe.

Cheers, weave.

With all the pro-mask info out there, if someone is not wearing a mask when they should when not at home (perhaps that should be all the time now to help reduce transmission rates? :hmmm:) then I have to accept now that they will take no notice of anything I say on the matter.

Until they experience at first hand the effects of Covid (and maybe not even then if they are, say, a President), they will continue their selfish arrogance.

But then they are perhaps already wearing a mask - one that blinds their eyes and minds.

A mask is not mandatory  in many places outside the home, and anybody trying to enforce me to wearing a mask in such locations will,at least, end up with a mouthfull.
