Unfortunately, I'm separated from virtually all of my railway stuff at the moment, including my railway bookshelf.

I have an excellent book on the Ruabon to Barmouth line, which the current Llangollen railway used to be part of. The book has a track plan for each of the stations on the route, and I'm in need of a look at the plan for Acrefair. I've already trawled the OS maps in the Scottish National Library, but I'd rather have the better-defined plan from the book if possible.

So, does anyone have the book, and can post an image of the track plan for Acrefair, or if not an image, a description of the track layout? I'm most interested in the presence or otherwise of any crossovers, and the number of sidings at either end of the station.

Thanks.
Tony

If you google : acrefair railway station, see llangollen-railway.org.uk and disused-stations.org.uk. maybe a start
My google-fu has not brought forward anything that I can use, unfortunately. The Llangollen Railway site tends to focus on the bit that they operate, and this line is not on disused stations.

Just found out my copy, according to the book "siding accommodation was on the up side,21 wagons on 2 roads and 25 wagons on 2 roads on the downside". There were 2  crossovers, that on the downside a single slip.

Hope this helps.

Awesome! Thanks both. I'd not heard of the Signalling Record Society before.
