anyone else getting e-mails from, supposedly, US Postal Service about a delivery problem ?

as I have not [1] sent anything to the states or [2] ordered anything from the states, I assume some scam.

Yes, ignore completely. I get FedEx ones all the time.

No, but according to 'BT' my email account is upgraded about three times a week and I should be resubmitting my password and log in to continue using it.

:hmmm:

A coupe of very simple rules:-
1. If an official email  doesn't start off with your name it's a scam. Don't bother to read any further.
2. If it has spelling or grammar mistakes it is a scam; read no further.
Even if an email passes the above rules always be careful. If you click on a link always look at the URL to check it sounds right and that it has a padlock symbol  next to it.

And how are you supposed to do that when, according to "Microsoft" there's something wrong with your computer which they'd like to fix for you?

I haven't got time to speak to Microsoft about my computer anyway. I've got to get an email off to a Prince in Botswana who needs £100 to unfreeze my inheritance.

I did that for the man and when the bank rang me to say that there was no money left in the account, I told them that it was okay as there would be a deposit soon of £250K.   :smiley-laughing:

I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.

Last one I had wanted £250 to pay for the fund transfer on my International Lottery 'win'.

I emailed back and said no problem, I just need you to send me £20 to get my overdraft down and then I can send it.

Oddly enough I didn't get a response.

I've had my email address hacked a couple of times over the last few years.

You haven't been getting any nonsense from me lately, Malc?
