Sometimes you bite the dog...

...sometimes the dog bites you!

I can explain it to you...

...but I can't understand it for you.

It does have a sort of "been through a washing plant that isn't working very well" sort of look, but it's hardly weathering I'll give you that  :hmmm:
If it moves and shouldn't, duct tape. It it doesn't move and should, WD40...

Bachmann have adopted interesting weathering tactics in recent times - often it comes in as different base colours (washed out/faded) with relatively little actual 'weathering' overspray - so here the underframe is light brown rather than satin black, for example, as well as the base greens being more washed out. Other than that, this is fairly light touch (some exhaust too).

Obviously subjective, and everyone will take as they see, but I often feel these are a great starting basis to add additional levels of weathering to - sometimes prior to this the weathering has been very heavy, and very brown!

Cheers,
Alan
