All's quiet this Christmas at High Elms Lane: a festive greeting of sorts...

A few folks on the model railway Facebook groups are posting pictures of their layouts at rest, as the railway mostly is this time of year! With that in mind, here's High Elms Lane, playing host to almost all my BR blue era diesels and electrics. Not sure how well the "panorama" mode worked on my camera, but looks okay to me. I hope a trainspotters paradise, anyway! Lots of good numbers to tick off in your Ian Allen book...

Merry Christmas, NGF, and especially the administrators and moderators who keep things working so smoothly.

The "corporate image" phase is certainly a very interesting one, and not just because of the (by modern standards) insane variety of locomotives and rolling stock. A recent BBC news item about the logo and the rest of the BR identity is well worth watching...
