Kit built scale query

Hi all

I have recently bought two kit built models, a complete DP2 and a body shell for one of the LMS "twins" which I had fitted to a Farish chassis and completed.
Although both look the part I cant help but think they both look "oversize" compared to ready to run models.

I have other kit builds, Lion Falcon and a couple of others that don't look out of place so any thoughts please?
