I just wanted to say how much I enjoy getting involved with this forum and the friendly atmosphere. Not to mention the wealth of useful information.
Thanks to all the moderators and the organisers of this forum for doing such a splendid job of keeping it all alive and well.
I'm sure I've probably posted this in the wrong section but I'm sure Sprintex will sort it out - bless him!!

I look forward to being here for many years to come.

Cheers (and no.. I'm not tiddly - but I'm working on it!!)

:beers: :beers: :D
Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

And I would very much like to second that.
It's great to be able to communicate with fellow modellers and to enjoy viewing some of the amazing layouts and modelling skills shown on here.
Long may it continue.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Hmmm, I'll take that as a compliment - I think :hmmm: :D

I could be pedantic and say that as it's about the N Gauge forum it should be in 'N Gauge Discussion', but pedanticism is not in my nature

That loud THUD you just heard was Clare falling off the sofa in disbelief ;)

You should take it as a compliment Paul. All you moderators do a great job in keeping us all in check and sorting out our little misdemeanours (and yes ... that is how you spell it!!)

Many thanks to you both for your kind words.  This forum has turned me grey with stress at times, but I do enjoy it, and am so happy to know what it brings joy to so many people in the hobby.  We all play our part in keeping it friendly, active and full of knowledge.....a great online community in my eyes.

Many thanks to the moderators past and present.  They have been a great help and a backbone.  Love them or hate them, they are needed!  :D

I have to agree wholeheartedly with the above comments. I am still a relative 'newbie' and find the information and advice given in the forum is excellent. I am still finding parts that I have not yet looked at - the forum is almost like an ensycl encikl ensikl a good book full of information!  :) And then there are the discussions and the (usually) light hearted bits.  :thankyousign: to everyone - moderators and contributors alike. David.
Sorry Tank, I meant to include the administrators as well!
David.
I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
If a friend seems distant, catch up with them.

Right on! I've only been with the NGF since January and have found it to be great fun and illuminating. Have wasted spent a lot of time reading what are usually interesting threads.

I love this forum, so friendly and helpful.

Great layouts whatever skill level you are.

Have learned so much, laughed at some of the jokes, been sad for people's losses and discovered some interesting music to model to.

We have just had the carpets put in upstairs, including my first train room, after a recent move.

I stupidly said to SWMBO, when I'd mentioned about putting a TV in there and she said 'I'm going to be a train widow, I'll never see you', that I WOULD see her as I'll have to come downstairs to use the computer to go on THE FORUM.   :dunce:

As others have said a big :thankyousign: to everyone involved.

Cheers weave  :beers:

Thanks Bob for starting this thread. I too would like to say how much I enjoy the forum and appreciate how the moderators and organisers keep us on the straight and narrow. Thanks too to all the other members for their help and freindliness.
