Hattons seem to be doing a good deal on a 4 coach Maunsell set. What locos of the current Dapol/Farish locos would be suitable to pull this set! Sorry if this might be covered elsewhere but I couldn't find any reference.
:beers:
Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

Is the M7 up to pulling a 4 coach set? I've heard dubious reports about the M7 pulling power.

I don't have one myself so I cannot speak with authority. However reports suggest that the latest batch have a better motor and that performance seems somewhat better than the originals. Unfortunately Maunsell green was not one of the liveries in the recent run so that probably does not help you.  :-\

I have 2 M7s, an early SR Olive Green one and a BR lined Black one from the recent reissue. Both will haul 5 Maunsells + Van 'C' with no slippage issues...

...on level track. YMMV...
