Did anyone catch the last 3 races of the season (ITV4 today). After months and 25 races, it went down to the very last race and the very last lap. The winner (name withheld in case someone hasn't seen it yet) won by 6/1000 of a second. How about that for a nail-biter

I saw it last sunday on Eurosport and have to say it was an absolute belting last race.
Jack Burnicle and Jamie Whitham were commentating and as they said, things were building up to a stunning climax from very early in the race. How either of them didn't crash or touch is testament to how skillful and respectful they are of each other. The only other race I have seen that closer finish was in 1999 at Monza between king Carl Fogarty on a Ducati 996 and Colin Edwards on a Castrol Honda RVF750RR.That race was won by Foggy by 5 thousandths of a second.
Truly magnificent stuff.

Good to see we have some two-wheeled racing fans here!

Great day for Casey Stoner (I have to be a fan given he is from the same town)

Makes me want to rip up the road on my Honda CBR250R (maybe not rip - more like slightly bend and tear)

Although MotoGP is the premier class I much prefer the 125's and Moto2 because the size of the field makes for better and more exciting racing. The FIM really must do something to get more entries onto the MotoGP starting grid as todays grid was pathetically small. By the time others had crashed out there were just 7 riders left, and that is not exciting to watch. Anyway, congrats to Casey Stoner and it's good to see Dovisioso has a ride next year.
Bring back Suzie Perry tho :P
