Any N Gaugers in the Huddersfield Area?

Hi

I was wondering if there were any other N Gaugers living in the Huddersfield area who might like to get in touch for informal N Gauge chats and knowledge exchange?  The nearest N Gauge Society Group is in York, a bit too far to travel for meetings.  Being new to N Gauge and railway modelling, it would be good to share ideas and hopfully pick some local brains!

Huddersfield Railway Modellers have a 2mm group and Pennine MRS have an N gauge group.
Both have meeting places in Huddersfield with various layouts.

Hi,
The Yorkshire Area Group has three members who live in Leeds; We used to have two from Huddersfield who'd travel to group meetings on a regular basis but ill health prevented them from attending more often.

Other group members travel from Doncaster, Scarborough and Bridlington. We've got our open weekend in September which will include a visit by the Society second hand shop. More details to follow in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for the replies, I knew about the Huddersfield Railway Modellers (£135.00 a year membership)   But didn't know about the Pennine MRS.
