Model Rail Digital Subscription

Hi all, Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Im looking at getting a digital subscription of model rail as the price here for the hard copy is getting out of hand (May was $22, Which is approx 11 Pounds!)

Noticing that the website says its available on Ipad or Iphone only, Does anyone know what format it comes in? and can it be looked at on a Android Tablet?

Not sure what the format is, but you can only access it by using the App Store and subscribing. It then adds a magazine into the built in viewer.

I tried it once on my Nexus 7 and it worked fine.
The only issue was that it doesn't download on to your device. This was a let down as I wanted to read it away from home.
