Hi all

As you may know my daughter is expecting her first baby

Now the bad news  :hmmm:
She is having all sorts of problems due to her type 1 diabetes and having Lupus SLE
Due to the complications she has been told today they would like to deliver him at 30 weeks  :worried:

My question is
Where do I get clothes for a baby of that size  :confused2:
I have tried Google, etc and I am now even more confused than when I started
Can anyone shed some light on the subject and recommend a good source of premature baby clothes  :help:

:beers:

dave

Panic not. When my twins were born prem at 32  weeks they weighed in at 3lb 10 and 3lb 6 - tiny things. With their head in my hand their feet barely reached half way along my arm. Needless to say they were in the Special Care Baby unit for those few few weeks and clothes were the least of our worries as I suspect your's will be.

Hopefully you will find, as I did, plenty of others around who have had similar experiences and so will be able to offer advice etc. However remember babies grow fast and those early clothes aren't needed for long so don't overspend too soon - leave that to the grand parents and friends  :help:.

Believe you me, as most parents will tell you - they don't get any cheaper as life goes on.

Wishing you all the best

Dave....you could ask Mick (Newport Nobby ) to get his knitting needles out.
He's been talking about taking it up for ages now..... :D

Can you not wait until the baby has arrived?  Make sure they have some sleepsuits, but I wouldn't buy anything until you know what they weigh.

I am not going to get anything yet
But I like to have all bases covered so I know where I can get things
without rushing round in a blind panic when he arrives  :worried:
