As the grand opening of moorside valley railway gets nearer, plans for its debut gala are underway.

Currently planned for gateshead exhibition as the only n auge layout there, im thinking of holding a gala to celebrate.

The idea is my current home fleet of 10 preserved locomotives, be joined by visiting locomotives, which s where the n gauge forum come in!

So im wondering if anyone feel up to sending a locomotive (preferably a preserved one, and dcc) on loan to moorside during the exhibition?

Steam is main liking, diesels also accepted.

Also if possible magnetic couplers for run rounds in the station.

If anyone would like to chip in eith advice or comments feel free! I will happily take critism such as being told "not a good idea" lol

Oh before i forget, my home fleet currently stands as:-

A4 sir nigel gresley (br blue)
A4 bittern (in silver link guise)
A3 flying scotsman (in br green livery, with option of lner green)
A1 tornado (br apple green)
B1 mayflower (lner apple green)
B1 61264 (br black)
Std 4 76084
Gwr pannier tank
Leighnton hall (br livery)
Class 25 sybilla (2 tone green)

The home fleet may grow before the gala as i may purchase more chips!

A double headed 25 sounds good to me :)

I will put you down on the list and get back to you closer to the time, much appreciated :)
