Advice on Pullman coach names etc.

Friends,

As you are aware from another of my posts I would like to collect a rake of coaches to maske up my own train similar to the "Orient Express".

To that end I spent about 3 hours searching the various sites of companies that supply transfers and decals so that the limited existing range of new model carriages could be renamed.

I am none the wiser and even more confused because of the railway "jargon" i.e Mk1 or MK2 or something else date-wise or production date etc. etc!

Is there someone on here who understands these things and is willing to find the information I need and a supplier of such transfers?

Just took a quick look at the second link and although there are several different names for the carriages there appear to be more kitchen cars than passenger cars!!!

No problem. The 1st link gives more regarding names, the 2nd is what runs in the current version.
Mainly kitchen cars as you say. Perhaps they use some repainted MK1's or MK2's with them?

 Its a pullman .. its mostly catering coaches.

Generally coaches were named except thirds which had numbers Car No.27 etc in the same place as names.

If I understand your reply correctly then the average rake of Pullman coaches have their own kitchens as standard?  Therefore there are few passenger only models?

Please forgive my naivety, but this is still quite a novelty and schooling for me!
