Noticed that Hattons have this in stock

I had one between 1993 and 1998.....no idea what happened to it?! :worried:  I used it all of the time and I found it to be superb!  However, this was before my models had the great detail that they have now and many snappable parts!  I think that once I get back into modelling fully I'll just get some foam and cut a groove......saves £10.

Pretty useful ... not perfect, but what is ?  I find that it reduces my concerns regarding the risk of breaking locos etc while handling them & trying to open/close them.  Works in N and OO.

Were I to lose one, I'd get another ...  While you could make one yourself easily enough, you'd need to ensure the foam was both soft enough not to mark etc, and rigid enough to be stable.
