Where can i buy loco bodies from i see folks here and there selling them but where do they get them from originally i'm looking for a class56 to fit to a loco at a later date as i can't afford a loco yet and i want to repaint the body.

BR Lines sell various Farish diesel and steam loco bodies and
also various Dapol spares. Some bodies people sell might come from locos
where the running gear and/or  motor is beyond repair. Not sure
who makes the class 56 loco.
