Title: Hello from Staggy1970
Post by: Staggy1970 on March 19, 2019, 06:15:23 PM
I'd like to say hello to everyone on NGF, I've always been interested in trains and have been building a small OO gauge shunting layout, but have always liked N Gauge, a few years ago I bought a Graham Farish start set 370-051, "played" with it on and off, bought some extra wagons but never got round to building a layout, but now I am! I think I going to build one from Peco Settrack, PLAN 1b with a couple of extra siding, I'll be getting the wood (approximately 150cm X 80cm) and then the fun will finally begin!!! Can't wait!!!

Hi, not really US outline, I've got a start set, just wondered if BAchmann US was any good, my layout will be UK outline, when I start it, hopefully very soon

Hi all, I've just ordered quite a lot of Peco Code 80 track from Hattons, All I need to do now is go to Homebase, get the wood cut and the fun can really begin. To say I'm excited is an understatement!!!

Just remember the old saying "Measure twice - cut once"
I also suggest you don't fit cross battens until you mark out where points will be if you intend to use underboard point motors.
