Socks, of course, and a throw back to my college days:

Belated happy birthday, love the socks and book.

Bealman

Thanks! The book is very good (if you were ever a big Bowie fan, which I was in my college years, 1970-73, which is exactly when he was becoming big).

As to the sox, I'm used to them now. I'm currently wearing Marvel comics Thor socks  :D

The Table-Top Railway is an attempt to create, in British 'N' gauge,  a 'semi-scenic' railway in the old-fashioned style, reminiscent of the layouts of the 1930s to the 1950s.

For the made-up background to the railway and list of characters, please see here: https://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?topic=38281.msg607991#msg607991

Something unusual tonight, and not seen since Bealman's return to Oz.

Storm with lightning approaching the bus stop!

....and sure enough, on the very same evening, Bealman was sharing his bus stop with a bunch of wet trolleys

I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
If a friend seems distant, catch up with them.

Well they were out in the wet, I was under the shelter  :)

I haven't visited this thread for a while (forum stopped telling me about new posts) so Happy Birthday George and anyone else who has had a birthday in the past month  :beers:

In April 2024 I will be raising money for Cancer Research UK by doing at least 100 press-ups every day.  Feel free to click on the picture to go to the donations page if you would like to help me to reach my target.

To follow the construction of my layout "Longcroft" from day 1, you'll have to catch the fish below first by clicking on it which isn't difficult right now as it's frozen!

Not quite the bus stop.

Bealette 3 is on her way back to her beloved Japan ( she worked there for nearly two years), via Seoul, South Korea.

Just thought I'd throw that on here  ;)

Don't ask me where or what that is, though  :worried:
