You were about a mile away from me George on your journey into North Wales from Chester, but glad you both got home safe and sound.
Cheers, Trev.

Time flys like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana!

It'd be good to meet up one day.
I'll get round to fixing it drekkly me 'ansome.

A new bus stop.

Hmm, interesting. A fancy new bus stop has appeared where I get the bus to the bowlo.

It's already covered in bird poo from the overhead cables above  ;D

I love the speed limit for UFOs!

There seems to be quite a few of them in Georges's neck of the woods.  :). I bet you are glad to be back with them George!
David.
I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
If a friend seems distant, catch up with them.

Life won't be the same with you two not being in Blighty. My WhatsApp will never be the same, that's for sure.
I note you escaped before the Ashes started. Scared or what? ;)

I told ya you've got to be kidding!  :D

Now, what was that saying??

Oh, yes.

Cometh the hour, Cummins the man!

Early days yet. Should be a great Ashes series.

New Maccas sign appeared while I was in the UK. The small print at bottom left says "Made with 100% RSPCA  approved Aussie chicken." Well that may be, but they still had to be croaked to go in the burgers  :D

You luckily scraped by, and many Aussie sphincters were twitching.
We need to do better behind the stumps.

Occupational hazard for a chicken I'm afraid. I wouldn't want the job of being a chicken.

In April 2024 I will be raising money for Cancer Research UK by doing at least 100 press-ups every day.  Feel free to click on the picture to go to the donations page if you would like to help me to reach my target.

To follow the construction of my layout "Longcroft" from day 1, you'll have to catch the fish below first by clicking on it which isn't difficult right now as it's frozen!

Not sure there is a more jingoistic country in the world than Oz

jingoistic
adjective
derogatory
adjective: jingoistic

characterized by extreme patriotism, especially in the form of aggressive or warlike foreign policy.
    "jingoistic propaganda"

I can think of some others in a list that might fit that adjective and come to mind well before Australia.

Substitute "Sports" for "Foreign" and you get my drift, Mark.
Not that there's anything at all wrong with a determination to win
