Oh, don't worry... there is one of those in the car park I have to walk through to get to the bus stop  ;D

Excellent - always such fun to splash around in a puddle.

As I said - it's nice here today (won't last, I know!)...

Looking over the garden wall in your direction!

All the very best

The Table-Top Railway is an attempt to create, in British 'N' gauge,  a 'semi-scenic' railway in the old-fashioned style, reminiscent of the layouts of the 1930s to the 1950s.

I hate to be pedantic (  ), but Australia is on the opposite side of the world, so whichever way you look, it is in the direction of Australia...

I'll get me coat.

Cheers,

Chris

Oooh, you want pedantic eh? Actually wherever you are, there will be a limited range of angles where your gaze (assuming it follows the curvature of the Earth) would intersect some part of the Australian continent; in fact there will be two sets of angles, going both ways around the Earth.

Nope; the only location which will guaranteed to be at the end of your "line of sight" in all directions will be the other pole. You'd still need to turn through a certain set of angles to be facing Australia.

I'd get my coat but I live in it permanently.

Flattering to think you all want to intersect at my bus stop  :)

Nice pics, John and Martin, by the way.

Except drier. And warmer. And nicer. So nothing like Blackpoo really  :D

In April 2024 I will be raising money for Cancer Research UK by doing at least 100 press-ups every day.  Feel free to click on the picture to go to the donations page if you would like to help me to reach my target.

To follow the construction of my layout "Longcroft" from day 1, you'll have to catch the fish below first by clicking on it which isn't difficult right now as it's frozen!

When I stopped by there in 2010 they had daleks strapped to the lampposts, which I thought was very cool. When I stopped by again three years later, I met NewportNobby under the Blackpool Tower, which was also cool.... I think  :P

Anyway, bit of rainy cloud over the "sandstone volcano" today:

Was that meant as some kind of warning to any other Daleks which wish to attack Blackpool?  :hmmm:

Solitary UFO over the volcano last night - at least I hope that's what it was and not some airline captain thinking he was about to land at Sydney airport  :uneasy:
