It's on the wall. Took them three hours to set all this crap up!
wonder how long a ) until one was defeaned and  b ) to dismantle

I've been in lots of pubs but I've never been feaned, or defeaned, not that I can remember, anyway.

Meanwhile, back at the bus stop, maybe because of the latest covid outbreak, Melbourne coffee has disappeared, replaced by chook!

That's a rather classic case of blatant false advertising. >:(

I doubt there's a Maccy D's on the planet that serves a burger that looks anything like those!  The Big Macs the misses and I had last week were typical reality: sad looking things (the best descriptive word I can come up with) with zero visual appeal, not hot, limpid salad, too much sauce, thin burgers cooked until they had begun to atrophy, and 'bread' that had the consistency of a sponge. Oh yes, and not as 'Big' as they used to be.

Real fast food - as in pulling a fast one! :(

Melbourne coffee?? Since when has Maccas been selling 'Melbourne' coffee in Wollongong?

More importantly, are The Finz still packing up their stuff and did they go down well with the regulars?

A couple of weeks, apparently, Ian

And the band must have been still packing up at three am - but it was all gone this morning. Regarding how they went down with the regulars, there were no regulars there... seemingly they were all their little (old) groupies.

We left after the first song!

Not quite the local bus stop.

End of the line for a tram! Glenelg, a beachside suburb of Adelaide, on a very wet, un-South Australian day.

Twas not a very nice day, good stay in pub drinking weather, but no......

....onto the tram into the city!

Cool tram stop, right in the guts. If you lived along that line, you wouldn't even think about taking your car in there.

And the big Adelaide railway station has a cool bar AND casino! How cool is that? SA rocks!

I think Adelaide and the rest of SA are just fine too. My most recent day in Glenelg 4 months ago was a day for swimming AND going to the pub.

Not quite the local bus stop part 2.

Thanks, Ian. I like Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills, the wineries at Barossa and Clare, Victor Harbour, but to be honest I'm not too enarmored with the rest of the state.

Anyway, shopping was achieved, which kept everyone happy!

Back on the jetty:

$20000 fine? Better to throw back, methinks. Don't really like crab anyway

You've never had crabs, George?

On a more serious note, blue swimmers are mighty fine eating, but not worth $20,000.

And the bus stop shot is the start of the excursion?

Being sideways, it could have been at the finish  :) ;)

Not the local bus stop (again).

Bealman's meccano-filled ankle defeated by a rock platform during a walk around an island on the south coast of NSW, during an unexpected trip this week >:(

............. an unexpected trip this week ..........[/img]

Hope you're ok. Due to the pubs not being open much during lockdown I've not suffered many unexpected trips lately
