Thanks Graham. As I told NPN, there was beer involved, but not excessive. I tripped getting off the bus, that's all.

It was over a fortnight ago and stitches are out and I'm pretty much ok now.

I hope you're ok now George.

I once did similar alighting from a train at Temple Meads. There was beer involved in mine too, lots of it. And a half bottle of brandy. It's a long way from Sheffield so I had to do something to pass the time didn't I? Mine was slightly different in that I was pushed helped off the train by a kind BTP employee who promptly disappeared as I saw on the BTP time lapse CCTV when I lodged an official complaint. All I wanted was my £4,500 dental bill paid but it seems I didn't have enough proof as to what had actually allegedly happened.

In April 2024 I will be raising money for Cancer Research UK by doing at least 100 press-ups every day.  Feel free to click on the picture to go to the donations page if you would like to help me to reach my target.

To follow the construction of my layout "Longcroft" from day 1, you'll have to catch the fish below first by clicking on it which isn't difficult right now as it's frozen!

Dunno if it's intentional or not, but the lights on the left at the bowlo sure look like Tasmania to me... which is where I'll be next Monday

Is that a lo alcohol version of a hazy ipa?

I didn't even notice the screen when I took that picture!

No idea what the crap is anyway  :worried:

Hazy IPA is just a description of Urine Recyc.
Gwei-lo is a Cantonese derogatory term for Westerners

By the way, the big lump on the other screen is Blocker Roach, a big rugby league star here in the eighties and nineties, and now makes a killing sprouting crap on the sports channels  ::)

Most certainly not! Gweilo is a Chinese/Hong Kongese brewery who have done several collaboration beers with the likes of Vocation, SALT, Brew York and probably a few more. The ones I have tried have been ok but not as good as the usual beers brewed by the 3 which I mention. Generally hazy though so definitely not for Mr Nobby and probably not George who seems to be the only person I have ever met (virtually) who likes VB.

Twiddling me thumbs at the bus stop last night, I noticed with me one remaining good eye something I hadn't before.... the power poles stop at Maccas!

Geez, they must use heaps of juice.  :)

The bus stop has moved for a week.

Though Bealman will be travelling by bus for most of it! Off to his beloved Tasmania again.

Here is the approach to Tasmania. It has to be this steep because it's only a small island  ;)

Took me a while to work out what the picture was... :dunce:
