I've been attempting to work out what it is.

I think it is a molecular environmental rearrangement device.  Put a smelly diesel model in, press the button, have a glass of VB and, by the time you return, the machine has rearranged it into a model of a SuperSpiffing steam engine.

But... I suggest you check the small print carefully before attempting to convert an 'Aussie Summer Flavours' from McDonalds - you know, that one you purchased on your way home from the Bowlo (seemed a great idea at the time!) - into something edible.  Evan a molecular environmental rearrangement device has its has its limitations.

We have one and, whilst I mainly use it for grilling and will be doing bacon butties shortly, (note I said "I mainly use it"  ), I do like to make my own fries! 

I use ours all the time, even had to teach Mrs N how to use it.

Mind you like everything around here it is full of hot air

We have 2 of them. A single drawer and a twin drawer. The 1 thing we have never done and are unlikely to do is use it for frying. It's just a mini oven after all. Why is it called a fryer?

Even if I do say so myself, I do a nice 'fried' chip - better than the 'chips' that you get at the McDonalds by the bus stop! I put the, dried, chips into a bowl, a little squirt of oil, a bit of seasoning, a good shake around and into the 'fryer'.

That would be nice. It's 43 Celsius at the moment. Air Con is running flat out and it's managing 27 Celsius.

I'm over summer already and it's only the 9th day.

Me too. 42 in the backyard at Chez Bealman. Yuk. I hate summer!

42 in Pymble, too. But only 26  in the garage, where the layout resides, just after lunchtime. However, it climbed to 30 by about 3.30, so I gave up for the day. Still, my static grass clumps should be nice and dry already.

Christmas bowlers.

Just looking at me phone, it says it's 5 degrees in London. It's not as hot here as it was recently (thank God), but warm enough to bring out the silly season bowlers. Ah, good on 'em.
