A handsome family apart from that dodgy geezer far right :)

I was thinking about this thread last night whilst trying to get to sleep and I wondered, have we ever seen a bus at your 'local bus stop'?

In April 2024 I will be raising money for Cancer Research UK by doing at least 100 press-ups every day.  Feel free to click on the picture to go to the donations page if you would like to help me to reach my target.

To follow the construction of my layout "Longcroft" from day 1, you'll have to catch the fish below first by clicking on it which isn't difficult right now as it's frozen!

Living where I do, I have to say, "What's a bus stop?"  :)

That was almost 6 years ago! We used to have buses down my road about then, maybe a bit before, we don't now because they took away the bus stop. Or was it the other way around?  :hmmm:
I think we need up to date evidence of a bus next time.

In George's defence, I think that train drivers are used to people taking photos of trains but someone taking a photo of a bus that they're just about to get on might be slightly unnerving for the bus driver.

They've got enough nutters to deal with  :D

I remember when my late sister first visited our 'new' house, she asked where we could get a bus. I told her that we could go to Mohill, about 10 miles away, and get one there - on a Tuesday! She thought I was joking.  . Things have improved, a bit, since then though. Being of a certain age, I have a free travel pass. The only problem is, I need a car to get to the bus stop - I think the nearest is now only 5 miles away.

Just for @Trainfish two buses at once last night. Mine's the one behind.

A lightning storm.

Standing under a power pole in the middle of one is probably not the best place (maybe it is), but that's where Bealman's bus stop is!

Anyway, I thought it funny when I got off the bus to find the summer menu in the middle of the storm.

Seeing as there is something that looks like diaroehea (sp?) oozing out of the thing in the middle, I thought the storm was a suitable background for the "summer menu."

OK, weather cleared up a bit. Might get home without getting wet

Train Waiting

It's a bit unfair making a motorist who happens to be wearing a hat drive at 25mph.

And rather you than me with the 'Aussie Summer Flavours' menu!

All good wishes

John
