My latest purchase. Two 52'6" Gresley coaches from worsley works..

These are the first of many I will be getting from Allen. He is etching me some 51'1" coaches to go.behind my J39 which will form the train to be worked over my forthcoming layout.  brugh-by-sands

That looks like it will become a lovely model coach - can't wait to see it finished!   Especially as I also model the LNER region! (When I am not modelling Poland!)

That's quite a task. Do you include the border regions and the checkpoint guards?

New Class 150 test run perfectly today, purchased from Alan Mason on the N'porium page. Thanks Alan!

Hello  :hellosign: everyone from Wakefield, this is my first post. I went into my local model shop today to be surprised that they had just received the following from Graham Farish; 1) All 4 versions of the CCT vans, 2) All 3 versions of the new bulk grain bogie hoppers, 3) All 3 versions of the new covered hopper wagons and 4) All 5 versions of the new class 37/4 and 37/5s.  :claphappy: I ended up buying class 37407 in large logo and class 37506 in rail freight red stripe, aswell as the red star CCT van. Spent far to much but it is nearly Christmas.  They are all really nice models and the 37s run beautifully out of the box. I will try and upload a picture when I work out how to.

Received today after purchasing from Hattons "Like New" listings.  This one was "SAS" - "Sold As Seen" (even though it was clearly brand new) and offered at £30 because it supposedly didn't run:
http://www.ehattons.com/stockdetail.aspx?SID=95570

And it didn't.  Why?  The brush springs had been so poorly fitted into their slots one or both weren't touching their brushes.  Took me less than half an hour to get it running and a little more time to replace the split gear that made itself known after it could!

I actually intended to just use the model for parts given the low price since I didn't know what I'd find when it arrived, but for very little effort on my part I ended up with a perfect running and perfect looking (well, for a Farish 40!) loco for £30 less VAT plus p+p = £29!

I have "Blue Pullman" as one of my saved searches but never saw this one  :confused2:

In April 2024 I will be raising money for Cancer Research UK by doing at least 100 press-ups every day.  Feel free to click on the picture to go to the donations page if you would like to help me to reach my target.

To follow the construction of my layout "Longcroft" from day 1, you'll have to catch the fish below first by clicking on it which isn't difficult right now as it's frozen!

Picked these up over the last couple of weeks.

Most recently, this Graham Farish Class 25 D5222 in weathered green.

I also picked up a couple of Graham Farish CCTs in Maroon and Blue:

BachFar 47701 (model 371-828) picked up for a song (around 30 quid) from a shop here in Tokyo. The shop rated its running quality as "B", but they are evidently not used to the running qualities of older British N-gauge stock. Seems to be pretty much in mint condition.
